Image of the city in Polish literature second half XIX century
Abstract
The article examines the features of a city image in Polish literature of the XIX century on the material of E.Ozheshko and B.Prusa. The image of the Polish city, on the one hand, acquiring the features of the metropolis, compared with other European cities, and on the other hand, preserves national identity and mythologized.
