LANGUAGE TEACHING: Achievements and Problems

Abstract

The article contains information on the All-Russia scientific conference with international participation “Language Teaching: Achievements and Problems” (April 17, 2013) dedicated to the 20^th anniversary of the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogics at Nizhny Novgorod Pedagogical University named after K. Minin. The conference highlighted diverse issues of language teaching: problems of intercultural communication, acute linguistic problems, culture and cultural aspects of teaching, modern language teaching technologies, content, organization and effectiveness of language teaching, etc.
