THE PROBLEM OF PEDAGOGICAL ABILITIES IN HISTORICAL RETROSPECTIVE

Abstract

Treatment in the past and its objective analysis enable to draw Parallels between psychological and pedagogical ideas of the British scientists of the nineteenth century and the current state of psychological and pedagogical knowledge. The papers contain British scientists studying a wide range of problems of educational psychology: from the organization of the lesson, to problems of professional qualities of teachers. Innovative ideas for psycho-pedagogical science of the nineteenth century there were ideas about the importance of reflection and empathy as the factors of efficiency of pedagogical activity; the willingness and ability of the teacher to self-regulation as the basis of efficiency of training and education; about the importance of communication, organization skills of the teacher, etc. Many of the ideas first voiced in the works A. Bain, J. Sully is reflected in the writings of modern scientists that can talk about the succession of views on the subject pedagogical skills. is reflected in the writings of modern scientists.
