INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES BASED ON THE HOLDING OF MASS BIRDWATCHING ACTIONS: SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES, THE MOST IMPORTANT RESULTS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article is analysed the scientific and methodical principles of innovative educational technologies, based on the realization of mass birdwatching actions, the most important results of application of this technology and discussed the prospects of its development. This technology allows teachers to learn the complex methods of environmental education, aimed at the development of cognitive interest of the children to the environment, the accumulation of knowledge in the sphere of environment and local lore by them, the training of the desire to participate in the activities to improve the environmental conditions and develop social partnership. The growing number of Russian participants of mass birdwatching actions promotes the development of the global thought of young people, increase in the world community’s credibility of our country. Leadership positions of Russia, being provided by joint efforts of schoolchildren under the guidance of teachers, become a serious additional stimulus to patriotic education and the development of social activity of young people.
