EDUCATIONAL EVENT AS A METHOD OF MOTIVATION OF STUDENTS TO LEARN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The ways of motivation to learn the information technologies of future bachelors of the direction "Information Systems and Technologies" of Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University are considered. The experience of using the educational event "Week of Russian Informatics" in the module of the universal bachelor "Information Technologies" is presented. The possibilities of organization of project activities of students using modern network technologies are demonstrated. The project activity is aimed at achieving the necessary competencies of students, their motivation for learning various information and communication technologies, and formation teamwork skills. The example of the educational project "Russian Informatics: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" demonstrates the features of the organization of research activities of students, the implementation of cooperation and collaboration in the conditions of teamwork, the possibility of using network services. In addition to this project, the problem of motivation was solved within the framework of the student hackaton for programming, the discussion "Future of Russian Informatics" and other events.
