STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF TEXTBOOKS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS

Abstract

This paper describes the structure and content of textbooks for professional academic subjects. The textbook is the primary means of learning and is an information model of scientific, technical, professional knowledge and experience in the relevant professional field. The initial structure and the content of textbooks development bases are trends in the development of scientific and technical progress in the various sectors of the economy, patterns of production and pedagogy, social and economic demands in vocational training. Textbook for professional academic subjects include content, visual material, methods and means of teaching material mastering. The textbook reflects the structure of continuity and interaction of interdisciplinary, general professional and special training materials; linear and structured presentation of educational material; unity of content and practice. Content includes technical and technological knowledge, applied and practical material as specific methods of work.
