BETWEEN MAGIC AND MYSTIFICATION: CARNAL ACTS IN NARRATIVE OF DEMONOLOGICAL TREATISE AND PROSAIC SCHWANK
Abstract
The main topic of this paper is representation of carnal love in the narratives of demonological treatise Malleus Maleficarum and Schwänkbücher, which credited it with magic and some kind of misterious circumstances. Both sources describes carnal acts in the way of short stories with strong patterns similar to folklore.
